The first band that played was Schmeisig - a local band - yes from Cologne and that was a good surprise ... doing a lot of funny all style covers ... haha! even metal sitting on a chair ! LoL!

Waaaaah! that was so cool !!! - so first a vid to get you into the mood!!



The french bands are really the best concerts going on here for the moment - after Les Touffes Kretiennes who knocked us already out a month ago and even managed to multipli by ten my trumpet lessons now after this concert I think I will not have any more time to sleep and my neighbours will kill me - hehe!

I found a litte note about them on the web for the german speakers ;o) - I wouldn't know to say better :
"Les Fils de Teuhpu zu beschreiben oder gar musikalisch einzuordnen, ist
eigentlich unmöglich. Versuchen wir es mit “Frank Zappa der mit Monthy
Phyton und Eläkeläiset zusammen Chanson und Reggae/Ska-Sounds
fabriziert” und "Babylon Circus treffen auf 17 Hippies und Cirqus
Alfon”, was uns aber auch nicht viel weiter bringt. Fest steht: Es
handelt sich hier um einen verrückten Haufen, der mit ungeheuer viel
Spaß und Unbekümmertheit an das Musikmachen heran geht. Was bekommt man
zu hören? Zum Beispiel ein schräges fetzendes Hammond-B3-Solo, fette
Bläsersätze, Skiffle-Banjo, Ska, deftigen Punk, Balkan-Zitate, Swing,
französisches Chanson, Akkordeon (logisch bei einer französischen
Band), Slide-Gitarre, Posaune und und und. Angesichts der
Verrücktheiten müsste die Band aus Finnland stammen."
- persönliche bemerkung bzlg Verrücktheiten : heya - die franzosen haben noch ein extra hauch von geilen humor on top of it !
